Ronnie Wood has checked into rehab, a fortnight after disappearing to Ireland with a teenage Russian cocktail waitress.
A spokeswoman for the married Rolling Stone said he is “seeking help” with his alcohol problem.
"Following Ronnie's continued battle with alcohol he has entered a period of rehab," she said.
"His close family and friends say he is seeking help and look forward to his recovery."
The 61-year-old guitarist’s face has been plastered over tabloids for a week, since it was discovered he had taken Ekaterina Ivanova to one of his homes.
The 18-year-old reportedly told friends the rock star was leaving his wife of 23 years, Jo Wood, to pursue a relationship with her.
His wife initially denied the allegation, explaining Ivanova was on a painting trip with Wood, an accomplished artist. But reports this week suggested the former model was considering ending their long marriage after the past fortnight’s events.
Wood, who completed the last of many rehab stints in June, has reportedly been drinking several bottles of vodka a day while in Country Kildare.
Ivanova’s family have expressed disgust at the holiday. Her mother, Irina, reportedly said: “What does he think he is doing? He's old enough to be her grandfather.
"He needs to send her back before things get out of control and either she gets hurt or his family do."
Last night Wood’s 30-year-old son, Jesse, entered the Irish mansion and emerged with his father. The pair flew home to London together.

Wow an 18 year old!
From a mans perspective thats quite impressive for a 61 year old, from a fathers horrendous.
If I reach 61 I may feel differently about it.....
Marc, Antrim,
At least Ronnie is a proper rock star. Can you imagine Chris Martin going on a five day Guinness & vodka bender with a 19 year old Russian temptress ? Neither can I. Good luck Ronnie, get yourself back on stage soon.
Dave , Cardiff, Wales
Whilst reports of his demise are extemely premature (I saw them here last year - and he did more than well, then), Ronnie definitely needs to sort his life out. His problem is that the older you are, the harder it is.
God bless you Ron and may he look kindly on your family and loved ones.
Edwin, Bucharest,
Isn't anyone actually surprised that Ronnie is still alive??
Stephen Manick, Trinidad,
Ronnie needs to get hold of Robert Kelly in Dallas Texas. He has worked with many celebs who have problems with alcohol! He is the only one I trusted... His success rate is fantastic..
