BARN AT BRYNICH

A converted barn set in the pretty Brecon hills that serves reasonably priced seasonal and organic meals. The menu includes shoulder of Breconshire lamb presented on Boursin mash with wine and redcurrant jus.

FELIN FACH GRIFFIN

Winner of the true taste of Wales Restaurant of the Year 2005 and Les Routiers Wine Pub of the Year 2006 (Wales); produce is locally sourced where possible, with increasing amounts of fresh fruit and vegetables picked fresh from their own kitchen garden. The dinner menu is one of the best in Wales. Mains include oven roasted partridge, Muscat grapes, braised Puy lentils and mash.
