They say “Diminishes dimples with caffeine encapsulated in QuSomes.”

We say Does this concoction, formulated by the trendy spa range Bliss, have the power to shift cellulite? Dr Tamara Griffiths, a dermatologist from the British Skin Foundation, says test- tube studies indicate that caffeine-like substances may break down fat cells. But she cautions that further research is needed to prove whether caffeine molecules can still do this when applied to real skin.

And what are QuSomes? These are “transporters” - that Bliss says aid absorption - that carry caffeine into the skin. The cream has to be massaged into the skin. Massage may reduce fluid retention, which could make legs, bums and tums appear more svelte, but is unlikely to reduce cellulite.
